The Black Aggie Business Marketplace was created in January 2023, founded by Wendell Gray '91 and Leslie Montgomery Thompson '94.

The purpose of the website is to provide a stage, for former and current African American students of Texas A&M University, to showcase their respective businesses. The secondary purpose is to strengthen the fellowship and camaraderie amongst current and former students to create a network that can collectively address economic issues impacting African American owned businesses.
